Join us for our DUAL event Spring Ephemerals Walk and Native Plant Sale & Gardening Talk!
Date:Â Sunday, May 5, 2024 (Rain or shine!)
Location: Marble Woodlands, Concession 4A, Mississippi Mills, ON, K0A 1A0 (4 km down Concession 4A on the left when coming from Highway 7, an event sign will be posted at the entrance)
Schedule:Â
🌷 The Spring Ephemerals Walk will be held along the trail at Marble Woodlands starting at 9:00 AM and ending at 12:00 PM (3-hour walk with frequent stops). 🌷
🌱 The Native Plant Sale & Gardening Talk will be held at the trailhead (right near the parking area) from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. 🌱
You will have the option to participate in both events, or just one of your choosing! If you would like to participate in the guided Spring Ephemerals Walk, we ask that you please sign up so we can track participant numbers.

Cost:Â FREE! Both events are free of charge! The native plant sale is a fundraiser for MMLT if you are interested in purchasing plants.
Event Details:
The Spring Ephemerals Walk will feature an educational guided tour along the trail at Marble Woodlands discussing spring ephemerals and shrubs. The walk will be guided by the lovely Owen Clarkin & Eleanor Thomson.
The Native Plant Sale & Gardening Talk (our first ever!!) will feature an informative presentation about gardening and there will be native plants available for purchase with all proceeds going towards MMLT! The talk will be hosted by the amazing Trish Murphy of Beaux Arbres & Ed Lawrence.
